Tine Fetz: This is not Uganda

Berlin-based illustrator and Urban Spree Resident Artist Tine Fetz is about to publish her new title - "This Is Not Uganda", to be released in November 2014 by Berlin-based comics imprint Jaja Verlag in a limited edition of 500 copies.
"This Is Not Uganda" is a 72-page graphic novel, travelogue and account of several journeys made by Tine in Israel, confronting herself with daily life and people, wandering through colonies in occupied territories, Dead Sea surroundings, punk concerts in Jerusalem..., under the faint patronage of a statue.
With her subtle black-and-white drawings, Tine Fetz offers in this almost wordless graphic novel an account of a journey in a place which is also a metaphor.
