About the Concert
MUJERCITAS TERROR
Mujercitas Terror has been giving wild live punk shows in Buenos Aires and other Argentinian cities for more than ten years now. Several musicians took part in Mujercitas Terror project before the band finally established itself as a trio in 2006, with Marcelo Moreyra on voice & guitar, Daniela Zahra on voice & bass and Federico Losa playing the drums. Since their debut album Mujercitas Terror was released in 2007, the band has slowly gained the status of a cult band. With a crazy crowd of faithful fans following them, today Mujercitas Terror celebrates its own “Mute Parties”: MT live performances together with different local bands, VJ sets by bass player Daniela, and Rock-DJ Andrés Cáceres shaking the Horror-House-like floors.
TRIGAL & BANG | BERLIN, DE
Trigal & Bang two weirdos come together to make some electroacoustic love on stage. Trigal a.k.a. Juan A. D'Amico, know in the scene as Camisa, is a solo artist based in Berlin. After playing for the last two decades in HC Punk bands, both in Spain and in Argentina, he has decided to focus his energy on psychedelic music. Signs of his South American roots and more recent, experimental German and Japanese influences can be heard throughout the soundscapes invoking images of madness. And then we have Adrian Bang, recognized performer, arranger and visual artist, in the last decade being a member or frequent collaborator with determinant psychedelic bands as Aqua Nebula Oscillator, The Telescopes, Chicos de Nazca or Kadavar. Nowadays he is performing on analog tapes with various effects and textural devices, aided by his own still or moving visual creations.
SAMČO, BRAT DÁŽĎOVIEK | VENICE, SLO
Samčo, brat dážďoviek is a Slovak artist and performer, whose work was recently appreciated by the Radio_FM's Radio_head Award in the experimental music category for his album Áttörő erő.
The work of Samčo recontextualises childhood, religion, singer-songwriting, or electronic music and channels his inner child. His music is full of samples and field recordings, reflects pop-culture and nationalism in its own DIY way and creates its own bizzare reality.
DIE VELVET UNTERGANG | KALT, NO
Die Velvet Untergang's music, although immersed in the despair of the back alleys, is also the drug to survive in those places. Their lyrics are anthems to sexual deviance and drug addiction, experienced more like miraculous and cathartic rituals than hedonistic behavior. Their music embodies that sense of squalor. But because it's also great poetry, it turns the squalor into "weltanschaung", transforms life in the Kotti area of Berlin into dantesque visions where heaven and hell are one and the same. Die Velvet Untergang sing both the triumphant apology and the funereal lament of this terrible and seducing world.
