About the Event
The Garage Mu x Urban Spree night of musical exploration comes out of a longstanding desire of its two musical wizards, Urban Spree´s Nicolas Defawe in Berlin and Garage Mu´s Eric Stil in Paris to combine their friendship and passion for underground music under one musical roof. All the energy and spirit of the underground parisian venue will be combined with Urban Spree in this special musical crossover night!
Live acts :
PEINE PERDUE :
Peine Perdue was born in Paris in 2010 thanks to the meeting of Stephane Argillet , artist and musician based in Berlin (La Chatte, France Fiction) and Coco Gallo. This two music lovers developed since a synthetic pop , delicate and melancholy rooted in cinematic fantasies , cold synthetic architectures and minimal and sensual romantic vein. Their next LP, called « Disparitions » will be released in April on Medical Records.

RANCUNE :
Rancune treads the line between 80s-inspired electronic
sounds and new-wave songwriting. Influenced by garage rock, electronic body music and most things in between, these three French guys living in Berlin can't choose between singing in their mother tongue, English or German.
Playing with a computer-less assemblage of analog synthesizers, drum machines, plus an organ and a guitar amp, the three members take turns to sing songs of love, lust, grudge and culinary frustration.
After forming in mid-2014, they started playing live in 2015 and have been recording demos to document their new-found sound. Expect a high-energy live act striving to play spontaneously instead of cruising through programmed backing tracks.

FREDOVITCH & HIS ONE MAN BAND :
In 1998 in Bordeaux, a band called BELLY BUTTON is back from his last tour in Japan before disbanding a few months later. His bass player and vocalist Fred a.k.a Fredovitch starts his one man band by mistake after a friend booked him in his bar, and recorded his first record "KING KONG CHA CHA" one year later.
Over the years the minimal bass guitar drums vocals songs from the first recordings turned into a sampler based garage rock supersonic formula one, where 60's acoustic drums meet drum machines and fuzz guitars get along with synths and samplers with full energy.
