After last year's great Party at Trickster with Awesome Tapes From Africa, INNER RHYTHM is back! ECOUTES AU VERT & TROPICAL TIMEWARP team up to bring you two special events featuring late afternoon garden chilling, great live music & hot dance party action with hard bopping djs playing African music and related afro, funky, tropical & disco grooves.The fun starts at 6 PM with djs in the garden followed at 7 PM by a rare opportunity to catch THE SACRED TRAVELERS band (6 musicians) performing a special semi-acoustic concert under the trees.
Indoors, later that night THE SACRED TRAVELERS (11 musicians) will also play an electric set doing their own very special thing combining Thai Molam, African & Caribbean influences.
They will be followed by BKO QUINTET, a mesmerizing 5 piece band from Mali, that will play their first ever show in Berlin mixing traditional and modern Malian music. They feature great drums, kora, captivating stage presence with story telling & an energetic show that will get you frantically dancing in no time. Don't miss them, they are one of a kind.
After the concerts, the party continues! Our beloved DJs will spin a fantastic variety of afro music for the rest of the night.

OUR 2nd GREAT NIGHT AT URBAN SPREE WILL BE ON FRIDAY THE 23rd of MAY with the concert of ORCHESTRE TOUT PUISSANT MARCLE DUCHAMP (Geneva) + ANALOG AFRICA SOUNDSYSTEM (Frankfurt) + OUR RESIDENT DJS THE SOULVENDOR, BESTMATE? + A SECOND DISCO FLOOR with COBEIA & BOOGIEMANN.
