About

"Daniel Weissbach aka COST aka DTagno" is an essential monograph that presents the artist's work through archive images, sketches, handwritten personal notes, paintings on canvas, illegal walls, exhibition views and drawings. The book, which follows Daniel Weissbach's career in alternating chronological and ante-chronological chapters, pays tribute to the artist who died in 2020 and gives us a better understanding of his work through his various Aliases. This comprehensive book also contains numerous texts and essays by Vincent Grunwald, Gregor Jansen, Olga Hohmann, Thomas Max Waldmann, Jöran Bellin-Lindberg, Robert Kaltenhäuser and Iris Hempelmann.

Daniel Weissbach (1976 - 2020) began graffiti in 1988 and has evolved his style under several identities. This stylewritting legend quickly established himself as one of the leading figures on the Berlin scene under the name TEKNO/TAGNO in the 90s, then COST, and DTagno. He is also known for experimenting with tools to create new art forms and works.
Daniel Weissbach was also a founding member of the Diamonds crew.
