About
‘It's about paysage’ is the second book by artist Romain Fueler.
It's about paysage’ recounts the obsession of the artist with tipping points and the tension that arises when two worlds collide. The works presented in the book include graffiti on walls, lorries and underground trains in the city, landscape photos, viewpoints, works on paper or canvas, and performances.
By documenting his artistic and urban explorations in this way, Romain Fueler is interested in the rupture that exists between the underground world and that above ground, observing the moments when these two realities intersect and merge.
While the initial gesture of graffiti is one of freedom, it's what comes after that interests him: the transformation and absorption of these works into the landscape. On the edge of these two worlds, straddling this tipping point, the book ‘it's about paysage’ reveals a reflection in the form of an anomaly.
