About

"Heinrich Heine Strasse"

Until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, a border crossing at Heinrich-Heine-Straße controlled the flow of goods from one side of the city to the other. It was also an entry point for West German citizens wishing to travel to East Berlin.
